Tried pointing an agent at our docs and realized how weird our setup was

Been testing coding agents against our API and kept seeing the same annoying thing. They'd understand the API then grab an old example or completely miss a parameter that's right there in the docs. I figured retrieval just sucked. Then I looked at what we were actually giving it, roughly 600 pages mostly HTML. No markdown routes no MCP endpoint no llms.txt. And a few pages were behind the API because someone forgot the docs PR. Fine when it's a person clicking around. Pretty rough when an agent just wants one specific answer.
