Changed one environment variable and our ticket tagging was down for most of the morning

We have a small feature that tags incoming support tickets before a person sees them, mostly deciding whether something is a billing problem or a bug report. It had been running on glm-5.2 with thinking switched off, because a model reasoning at length about whether an email is a refund request is a waste of everyone's time. When 5.3 came out six weeks ago one of the devs bumped the model name because a newer feature we were building wanted it. The name lives in an environment variable that the tagging service also reads, which nobody remembered, and every tagging request started failing.…
