“LLMs as a Cognitive Virus” - thoughts and questions

I’ve been seeing this paper go around "LLMs as a Cognitive Virus": https://arxiv.org/html/2609.03344v1 I'm trying to understand what exactly this paper establishes. I'm either missing something there is something odd about the paper. I took it seriously given David Krakauer and Michael Levin are listed as authors.
