After every other model failed some noncoding tasks, I gave them to Argon. Wow, I'm impressed.

Opus is probably better for coding, but for noncoding stuff, Argon seems much, much better, at least for the tasks I had. I'm using the API. I don't know if performance is identical under the subscription. Argon actually looks around and applies the data coherently, unlike every other model (Fable, Opus, Astra, Sol). No other model could deliver anything useful. This is crazy! It's like night and day between Argon and every other model. I wrote off Argon after some simple tests (run by Opus...) but finally tried again in a proper agentic harness.
